RESURFX

The ResurFX laser by Lumenis®, one of the world's leading makers of medical devices, is a skin resurfacing option that prioritizes patient comfort just as much as effectiveness. It is a non-ablative laser, which means it stimulates the skin to develop collagen without harming or ablating any skin.

ResurFX is also a fractional laser, meaning the laser light that is delivered to your skin is divided into tiny dots. Unlike other fractional devices, ResurFX requires just one pass over your skin to produce results, reducing treatment time.

    Resurfx Q&A

    How long does Resurfx last?

Two years. After you finish the recommended number of treatments, your results can last up to two years. You’ll have longer-lasting results if you take good care of your skin by avoiding sun exposure, using a good sunscreen, and sticking to a good skin regimen at home.

    How many treatments?

ResurFX is completed as a series of treatments. Because it is a limited downtime procedure, it usually requires multiple treatments for significant and meaningful results. Typically, at least 3-4 treatments about one month apart are necessary to obtain optimum results, although this varies by the individual and their goal.

    Does the Resurfx tighten skin?

The Resurfx laser delivers laser energy through tiny dots to the dermal layer of the skin. The heat energy causes the skin to contract, which provides an instant tightening of the skin, and the laser stimulates collagen production.
